Our Story
Charting Paths was born out of the realisation that entrepreneurial practices driving innovation and stakeholder engagement could revolutionise the for-impact sector. South Africa is a country with both incredible need and opportunity, and with over 290,000 registered NPOs, for-impact organisations have a key role to play in unlocking the country’s potential.

What We Do
We specialise in helping for-impact organisations structure for efficient performance and create innovative solutions to promote growth. By equipping teams with the necessary tools and strategies, we pave the way for sustained, long-term impact. Moreover, we ensure that the profound impact achieved is communicated powerfully to the right audience, maximising visibility and support. Our approach is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to creating meaningful, sustainable change.
Meet Chris
He holds an MSc Entrepreneurship, with Distinction, from Trinity College Dublin, and a PGDip in Management from UCT. Across his career Chris' experience includes strategic and management positions in the agricultural and intelligence consulting sectors.
Through his studies, Chris explored the application of entrepreneurship practices and frameworks within non-profit and for-impact organisations, and how these can be used to drive innovation and amplify impact. He has subsequently applied this knowledge and his skill set in strategic analysis, business case development, and market research and analysis, to assist South African for-impact organisations as they respond to resourcing and strategic challenges.
